Northview Bank has been part of the Cromwell community since 1995. The town's history began in 1872 as Island Lake Station, changing to Cromwell in 1883, named after James L. Cromwell by the Northern Pacific Railroad Company.
Cromwell was a Minnesota dairy "gold mine" thanks to the Cromwell Co-operative Creamery Association, a key manufacturing and egg distribution hub along the Northern Pacific railway. The original creamery building is now Cromwell City Hall.
Cromwell features parks, lakes, and trails for ATVs, hiking, and cross-country skiing. Each September, the community enjoys the Cromwell Harvest Festival, a three-day event with a Scarecrow contest, steak fry, food vendors, arts and crafts, live entertainment, and more!
